Built automated pump hydraulic performance test setup interfacing with data collection instruments through NI LabVIEW, tested prototype pump designs, thermal-fluid analysis.
Liberty Pumps - Automated Pump Hydraulic Performance Test Setup Built an automated system capable of testing pumps and generating performance curves along with other data. Received data from flow meters, pressure gages, a Yokogawa WT500 power analyzer, RPM sensors and thermocouples, and controlled air actuating ball valves and a contactor using an NI cRIO system. Programmed and automated the system using NI LabVIEW. Capable of testing single or three phase pumps on a range of voltages. Processed the gathered data into a single detailed report.
Multidisciplinary Senior Design - Metropolitan Museum of Art Artwork Scanner Improved the design of an artwork scanner capable of imaging large works of art up to 20 ft by 30 ft in size. Implemented a third axis capable of moving a camera towards the artwork using a lead screw linear actuator. Redesigned lighting frame, and wheels to meet the customer's needs.
