PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Project Engineer to Engineering Manager: Overseas, HI, & CA to Trinidad, CO 1980 - Present
Military facilities, Space, Aerospace and Commercial Companies to engineering contracts. Turned R&D concepts into customer spec driven layouts, CAD models, assemblies, and drawings for engineering reviews to achieve tolerance stacks and vendor quotes. Responsible for various CAD programs, new machining and test practices. Cost effective management with budget approvals for operating expenses. Meet milestones for pay. Mentor young engineers.

Engineering Manager: Spruce Consulting - Trinidad, CO 1995 - Present
Consulting firm specializing in contract engineering for systems and components. Modern CAD used and outsourced CFD, FEM, FEA etc. Drawings, R&D parts, first articles, and all testing. Purchased and maintained office equipment, CAD, R&D shop, licenses, insurances and all contracts with third party, vendors and test labs. Trade studies for cost, capital equipment purchases, refinancing and corporate restructuring. Supervised or coordinated the efforts with client companies from 3-4 to 30-40. Yearly cost budgets for engineering, production, vendors and administration. Produced Project schedules, Gant charts, and manpower loading when required.
